Can Drinking Coffee Prolong Life?
Coffee is one of the most frequently consumed drink worldwide. Approximately three-quarters of adults in the United States drink the stimulant. The notion that drinking coffee is unhealthy seems to be slowly fading away in recent times.
While too much of anything isn’t good, different studies seem to point out that a long-term moderate consumption of coffee reduces the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, and certain cancers.
Experts believe that the polyphenols and other bioactive compounds in the brew have antioxidant properties. Scientist could not find any difference in the health-related effects between regular coffee and decaffeinated coffee.
Is this a reason to drink more coffee? That’s up to you. Moderation is the key to all things.
